Katie Hall has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. In 2003, they worked as a Researcher in Global Communications at the Executive Office of the President, The White House. From 2005 to 2011, they served as the Varsity Volleyball Coach at West Ottawa Public Schools. Katie then worked as a Legal Assistant at the United States Attorney's Office from 2008 to 2012. In 2013, they joined the Corporation for a Skilled Workforce and held multiple roles, including Director of Communications, Policy Associate in the Economic Opportunity Team, and ultimately, Director of The Competency Project until 2020. Katie also served as a Workforce Consultant at the MIT Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) from 2019 to 2020. In 2019, they became a Board Member at ElevenPoint2 and later founded Claira in 2020, where they currently hold the position of Founder and CEO. Additionally, they are currently a Lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management, starting in 2022. Throughout their career, Katie Hall has demonstrated expertise and leadership in diverse roles across various organizations.
Katie Hall attended MIT Sloan School of Management from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the University of Michigan, specializing in Economics and Workforce. Katie Hall's undergraduate studies were conducted at Hope College from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government.
