Shelli Aderman

Director of Rabbinic Programs at Clal

Shelli Aderman has a diverse work experience. Shelli started their career in 2006 at Congregation Tehillah, where they served as an Administrator until 2011. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Emanuel Congregation as an Administrative Support/Event Coordinator. In 2013, they joined Anshe Emet Synagogue as a Youth Advisor and also served as a member of the Youth Tefillah Team until 2016. In 2016, they became the Associate Director of Family Programming at Park Slope Jewish Center for a brief period. Shelli then joined Clal - The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, Inc. in 2016 as the Director of Rabbinic Programs and later became the Director of Program Administration and Operations. Additionally, they worked at Town and Village Synagogue as a Hebrew School Teacher and served as the Interim Director of Hebrew School from 2020 to 2021. Throughout their career, Shelli Aderman has gained expertise and experience in various roles within the Jewish community.

Shelli Aderman obtained a BA in Theatre Production from Hofstra University from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued the same degree at Kingsborough Community College from 1990 to 1992. Shelli also completed an internship at the Beer Sheva Theatre in 1988 and 1989. Shelli completed their high school education at Woodrow Wilson High School from 1984 to 1988. In 2015, Shelli obtained a certification in First Aid/CPR from the AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Program.
