Ian Smillie

Ian Smillie has significant experience in construction management, having held the position of Contracts Manager at Midland Construction from 2007 to 2012, and currently serving in the same capacity at Clancy Construction since February 2013. Prior to this, Ian worked as an Assistant Contracts Manager at John Sisk & Son Ltd from August 2000 to June 2007. Ian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Port Elizabeth, earned between 1993 and 1999. A strong emphasis on team motivation has been a hallmark of Ian's career, leading to the successful construction of defect-free and cost-effective buildings within shorter timeframes, ultimately maximizing profitability.
