Lee McMahon has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Lee co-founded Clara Technologies Limited in 2018 and currently serves as the Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer. Prior to this, Lee co-founded The Support Legal Group in 2016, which is the first fully licensed 'New Law' firm in the region. Lee had a role as a mentor at 1776, a global incubator and seed fund, from 2017 to 2018. Lee also worked as the General Counsel at Ferrexpo Plc from 2013 to 2016 and as a Legal Counsel at GlencoreXstrata Plc from 2012 to 2013. Before that, they served as a Legal Counsel at DP World from 2010 to 2012, an Associate at Herbert Smith from 2008 to 2010, a Legal Counsel at Xstrata Coal from 2007 to 2008, a Solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques from 2007 to 2008, and a Solicitor at Matthews Folbigg Lawyers from 2005 to 2007.

Lee McMahon completed their education at the University of Technology Sydney. From 1999 to 2005, they pursued a degree in Law. Simultaneously, from 1999 to 2004, Lee also pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Management at the same university.
