Patrick Rogers

Patrick Rogers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Patrick is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Clara Technologies Limited, a position they have held since September 2018. Patrick is also a Co-Founder of The Support Legal Group, a venture they started in March 2017. Additionally, Patrick has served as a Selection Committee Member & Mentor at Techstars since November 2018.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Patrick worked as a Venture Mentor at Endeavor, a global non-profit organization focused on supporting high-impact entrepreneurs in emerging countries. Their role at Endeavor involved providing mentoring and guidance to entrepreneurs in emerging markets.

Patrick also has a background in law, having worked as a Corporate Lawyer at Jones Day from May 2010 to June 2015. During their tenure at Jones Day, Patrick specialized in VC and PE deals, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and general corporate governance across various industries.

Prior to Jones Day, Patrick worked as a Corporate Lawyer at DLA Piper from 2008 to 2010. Their work at DLA Piper involved M&A, joint ventures, securities, and providing commercial and corporate advice to clients across different industries.

Patrick began their career as a Trainee Lawyer at Stikeman Elliott LLP, where they completed their articles in the Corporate Group. At Stikeman Elliott, Patrick gained experience in securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate and commercial law.

Patrick Rogers completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at The University of British Columbia in 2004. Patrick then pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law at Western University, graduating in 2007.
