Country Manager, Brazil at Clara

Layon Costa is the Country Manager for Clara in Brazil. Prior to this, they served as the Product / Business Development Head for Rappi from May 2020 to December 2020. Layon was also the Product Lead for QuintoAndar from June 2019 to May 2020, and the Product Project Manager for Google from May 2018 to August 2018. In addition, Layon is a Co-Founder of GetNuts, a market research/retail tech company that they started with a grant from EGI (Sam Zell) in January 2018. Layon served as the Product Marketing Manager for The Dow Chemical Company from January 2012 to June 2017, and as a Product Development Engineer for Volvo Trucks from January 2010 to March 2011. Prior to that, Layon was an Engineering Intern for WHB Fundição e Usinagem from January 2009 to March 2010.

Layon Costa has a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Science in Design Innovation from Northwestern University, and a degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering from Federal University of Technology - Parana. Layon Costa is also a graduate of Latitud, where they studied entrepreneurship.
