Jay Bendon has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry. Jay started their career as a Technology Consultant at Bendon Consults in 2007. Jay then worked as a Network and System Administrator at PowerDNN.com, where they were responsible for helpdesk support and managing server images. Jay later joined WorkforceLogic as a Google Contractor, where they repaired machines and traveled to other Google facilities for assistance. Jay was eventually converted to a full-time Google Employee.
In 2010, Jay joined Google as a Datacenter Technician I, where they handled technical issues, led the repairs team, and served as a project pilot lead. Jay was later promoted to Operations Engineer I and developed a web-based tool for tracking the physical security of sensitive data on hard drives. Jay also led the Remote/Edge/POP repairs and deployments team and provided mentorship to other technicians.
After leaving Google, Jay worked at Amazon as an Operations Support Engineer III, where they provided tier one support for essential Amazon services and managed Amazon.com's global DNS. Jay then joined Ooyala as a Site Reliability Engineer, participating in availability on-call rotations and assisting development teams with their release processes.
In 2015, Jay joined Amplitude Analytics as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on infrastructure and reliability engineering. Jay played a crucial role in scaling, designing high availability systems, and implementing infrastructure components.
Jay returned to Clari in 2017 as an Infrastructure Engineer, specializing in mentoring and automation. Jay later transitioned to the role of Engineering Manager, where they grew the infrastructure engineering team and provided guidance and feedback on projects. Jay is currently working at Clari as a Principal Software Engineer.
Jay recently joined Hightouch in 2022 as a Software Engineer, gaining experience in the company's software development processes.

Jay Bendon attended Daniel J Gross Catholic High from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a High School Diploma in a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Following that, they pursued Electronics Technology with a specialization in Cisco Networking at Metropolitan Community College from 2006 to 2010, earning an incomplete Associate's degree in the field.
