Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith has a diverse work experience, starting as a Continuous Integration Coach at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in 2008. Patrick then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at D'Auvergne Brothers Industries in the same year. In 2008, they also served as a Product Manager for Fortify Software, where they developed and defined a new product offering. Later in 2008, they were a Product Manager (Contractor) at Sonatype, where they managed the commercial launch of Sonatype Nexus Professional. At NASA Ames Research Center in 2009, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer (Contractor) and lead Java developer for air traffic management experiments. From 2010 to 2013, Patrick was a Senior Product Manager at oDesk, where they led the creation of custom task tracking applications. In 2013, they became the Vice President of Product and Engineering at CrowdSource, where they led product definition and the engineering team. In 2014, they founded CrowdPS and worked as the Founder. Later in the same year, they joined C3 Energy as a Lead Software Engineer, focusing on Big Data analytics for smart energy grids. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Clari, where they lead the engineering team.

Patrick Smith attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1989 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
