Malte Otromke

Malte Otromke is a Global Senior Process Engineer Simulation and Project Manager for Digitalization at Clariant since December 2017. Prior experience includes a role as a Freelance Engineer specializing in Process Simulation and Life Cycle Assessment at BASF in mid-2017, as well as serving as a Project Leader and PhD Student at Fraunhofer ISE from August 2013 to March 2017, focusing on the base catalyzed reformation of technical Kraft lignin for renewable carbon fiber production. Malte Otromke also conducted a Master's thesis on extending an OpenFOAM solver at Evonik, and a Bachelor's thesis on retrofitting slop-oil systems at TOTAL. Educational qualifications include a Dr. Ing. in Chemical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Mannheim, and a Bachelor of Science in Process Engineering from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
