Manuel Mueller has gained extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Manuel started their career as an Analyst at HSBC, specializing in Hedge Funds & Private Equity from October 2008 to October 2011. After that, they joined FedEx as a Senior Analyst in Global Business Development from April 2012 to March 2014. Manuel then moved to Clariant and held several positions, including Global Project Manager - Commercial Excellence from April 2014 to May 2017, Global Business Head - Plastics from May 2017 to December 2022, Global Head of Marketing & Strategy from October 2020 to December 2021, and Global Business Head - Adhesives from June 2022 to December 2022. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability at Clariant, a position they assumed in October 2022.

Manuel Mueller earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of St.Gallen in 2006. In 2007, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) at King's College London, and in 2008, they completed a Graduate Diploma at Harvard University. In 2016, Manuel obtained a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from UMS, and in 2018, they received a Diploma in Negotiation Dynamics from INSEAD. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a Diploma of Education in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, Manuel acquired an Advanced Strategic Marketing Program certification from Market Edge in 2020.
