Mathilde Frechet

Mathilde Frechet has extensive experience in the field of research and development, currently serving as the Head of Open Innovation & Strategic Alliances at Clariant since April 2017, overseeing the BU Care Chemicals sector. Previously, Frechet held positions as Scientific Director of Actives & Natural Origins and Site Manager, where responsibilities included managing a global R&D team of 21, defining and executing R&D strategies, and engaging in partnerships and contract negotiations. Frechet also served as the Scientific Director of Active Ingredients at Lucas Meyer Cosmetics from July 2024 to April 2025, managing a global R&D team of 40 across various locations. Earlier experience includes significant roles at EXSYMOL Monaco, where Frechet was Head of R&D and R&D Coordinator, showcasing a strong background in innovation and scientific communication.
