Norbert Modl

Norbert Modl is an experienced professional in the chemical and catalyst industry, currently serving as Head of HT and Head EMEA BTX Purification at Clariant since January 2022, focusing on the global sales of clay catalysts for the purification of aromatic compounds. Previously, Norbert Modl held the position of Head of Sales EMEA at Clariant from June 2003 to June 2014, specializing in fuel cell and battery materials. Prior experience includes serving as Product Manager at Süd-Chemie, where Norbert Modl was responsible for the sales of syngas catalysts for ammonia and methanol synthesis from 1997 to 2003, and as Project Manager at The Linde Group, overseeing the engineering and startup of hydrogen and carbon monoxide plants from July 1992 to December 1996. Norbert Modl holds a Dipl. Wirtschaftsing. in Business Administration from FernUniversität in Hagen and a Dipl. Ing. in Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
