Peter Tan

Peter Tan is an experienced professional in operations and technology management with a strong background in the chemical and consumer goods industries. Currently serving as Site Manager at Clariant since January 2015, Peter oversees the Clariant-Wilmar Joint Venture site in China, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations while driving operational excellence across various domains. Prior to this role, Peter held positions such as Operational Excellence Manager and Technology Manager for the APAC region, where responsibilities included leading continuous improvement projects and managing new product development initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as R&D Manager at Reckitt, focusing on product development for the China market, and as Senior Engineer/Project Manager at Procter & Gamble, where Peter was involved in technology transfer and managing production capabilities. Peter holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Zhejiang University.
