Prasanth Kumar

Prasanth Kumar is a seasoned professional in the catalysts field with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Technical Director for the Middle East and Africa at Clariant since January 2015, Prasanth leads the Technical Service team to support sales initiatives in the region. Prior to this role, Prasanth was the Technical Service Manager for the Middle East and North Africa at Clariant from 2008 to 2014, focusing on marketing and technical service for various catalysts. A lengthy tenure at Sud-Chemie from 1991 to 2008 included roles such as General Manager for Marketing and Technical Service, Chief Manager for Marketing, and Senior Technical Service Engineer, specializing in catalyst applications in ammonia, methanol, and refinery hydrogen plants within India. Prasanth holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Trichur, earned between 1983 and 1987.
