Stephane Thomas

Stephane THOMAS has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the chemical industry. Stephane started their career at BP and held positions as a Process Engineer at BP, Solvay, Technip, and Shell. Stephane then moved on to INEOS, where they served as a Production Manager, leading a polyethylene plant and implementing improvements in plant reliability and process safety management. After that, they joined Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as a Senior Risk Engineer, specializing in the oil and petrochemicals sector. Currently, Stephane is working at Clariant, where they have held several positions including Project Manager and Master Black Belt, Head of Global Technology, Global Head of Operational Excellence, and currently serves as the Global Head of Environment Health & Safety and System Management.

Stephane THOMAS obtained a Master's degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from ENSIC, graduating between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they completed their 2nd year of Business & Management studies at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy from 1998 to 1999.
