Sylvain Augier

Sylvain AUGIER has extensive experience in supply chain management and research and development within the chemical industry. Currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain and Sourcing for Natural Ingredients at Clariant since July 2017, Sylvain has also held positions as Senior Supply Chain Manager and Product Manager for Active Ingredients at the same company. Prior roles include R&D Manager at AB7 Industries, where responsibilities involved the conception and industrialization of polymer-based products for veterinary and cosmetic applications, and R&D Innovative Project Manager at Pylote, focusing on the development of micro-particles and polymer composites. Sylvain's career began at CEA as a European Project Manager managing micro and nanocomposite projects for energy applications, and earlier experience includes a VIE role at Arkema. Sylvain holds a PhD in Chemistry and Materials Science from Università di Pisa and an Engineer's degree in Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques.
