Tim Clayfield

In 1999, Clayfield began their career as a Business Development Manager at DuPont Dow Elastomers, where they focused on developing new applications for their ENGAGE POE products. During their time there, they successfully assessed customer needs in various industries and utilized their polymer expertise to drive innovation.

In 2005, Clayfield joined The Dow Chemical Company as a Development Engineer and later became a Senior Development Scientist. Tim played a crucial role in connecting research and development with marketing, manufacturing, and sales for the NORDEL EPDM elastomer. Tim acted as the product's champion, leading its present and future development.

Clayfield had a brief tenure as the Global Technology Leader at Dow Elastomers and Dow Europe GmbH (Switzerland), where they continued to showcase their expertise in polymer technology.

In 2016, Clayfield joined Resinex UK as a Market Development Manager, expanding their skill set to include market development strategies.

The following year, they became the Head of Application and Product Technology at Tyre Recycling Solutions SA, leading the company's application and product technology efforts.

After this, Clayfield joined Clayfield Applied Polymer Sciences as a Scientist and Interface Polymers Ltd as the Head of Product and Application Development, where they contributed to research and development, as well as leading the development of various products.

Most recently, Clayfield has assumed the role of Head of Additives R&D at Clariant, where they oversee the research and development of additives for the company.
