Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure at Clarifai

Alan Y. has a diverse range of work experience. In 2017, they worked as a Line Cook at Moxie's Grill & Bar, where they collaborated with other team members during busy shifts to prepare menu items. From May 2021 to August 2021, Alan worked as an R&D Intern at a social innovation startup, where they conducted market and user research, as well as managed stakeholders. From September 2021 to December 2021, they worked as a Research Assistant at Ryerson University, where they collaborated with professors in developing predictive models for heart frequency fluctuations. Alan's responsibilities included data extraction, processing, analysis, and modeling using Python scripting. Alan worked with models such as the Cox-Ross-Rubinstein binomial model and Monte Carlo simulation. From September 2022 to December 2022, they worked as an Associate ML Developer at AltaML, where they designed and built an optimization system for copper floatation processes. Currently, Alan is working at Clarifai as a Software Engineer in ML Infrastructure from January 2023.
