In today’s rapidly changing world of remote work, information overload, and big data/AI, finding the right talent is more challenging than ever. In the commodities and shipping industries, you need more than just recruiters—you need experts who understand your challenges firsthand.
At Clarion, we are more than recruiters—we’re industry insiders. Our team is led by professionals who have been in the trenches of the commodities sectors.
From power, gas, and LNG to oil and petchems, we bring decades of hands-on experience and deep understanding. Our UK-based CEO is an ex-oil trader, and our leadership in Switzerland, Singapore, and Scandinavia is made up of industry veterans who have held senior positions in energy trading, operations and management.

We apply this expertise to help you solve your talent challenges across all areas—from C-suite executives to emerging talent. We understand the importance of the critical roles that keep your business running smoothly, such as finance, IT, legal, HR, risk management, and compliance, alongside shipping, operations, analysis and trading functions.

We help with:
• Leadership and C-suite recruitment
• Trading and Origination roles
• Shipping and Operations positions
• Analysis and Risk professionals
• Senior Finance, Legal, IT, HR, and Compliance

Diversity is at the core of what we do. We initiated the first women in oil, gas, and power networking events in partnership with Shell Trading back in 2016, promoting varied perspectives in this sector.
Our team itself represents a mix of cultures, and we bring that diversity to every client engagement.

When you partner with Clarion, you gain more than a recruitment service—you gain a trusted advisor with real industry insight. We bring our networks, expertise, and commitment to diversity to find the talent that not only fills roles but drives your business forward.
