Tim Baker

Tim Baker is an experienced IT and network professional with a background in managing infrastructure and security teams across various organizations. Currently serving as a Network Manager at Clarion Housing Group since November 2024, Tim has previously held roles including Technology Security and Infrastructure Manager at Gregory Distribution, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of engineers and supporting critical systems across numerous sites. Notable projects include achieving CyberEssentials Certification and implementing advanced security measures such as Cisco SD-WAN and internal firewalls using VMWare NSX-T. Tim's extensive experience also includes management positions at Avon and Somerset Police and Debenhams, focusing on network and telephony infrastructure, as well as a prolonged tenure at Somerset Care managing comprehensive IT environments. Tim holds a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering from The University of Manchester.
