Olaf Sielemann

Olaf Sielemann is an accomplished executive in the battery technology industry, currently serving as Vice President of R&D and Core Engineering at Clarios since May 2019, with previous roles including VP of Product Engineering for Lead Acid and Director of Engineering for EMEA. Prior to Clarios, Olaf held the position of Global AGM Engineering Lead at Johnson Controls Power Solutions EMEA and has extensive experience at Exide Technologies, where roles included Director of Transportation R&D Europe and Director of Product Engineering for VRLA Batteries. Olaf is also recognized for the successful introduction of new product lines for AGM and Gel batteries tailored to both automotive and industrial applications and has a robust educational background with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Chemical Engineering from FH Münster.
