Ron Bloom

Ron Bloom is a General Partner at Commonweal Ventures and serves as Vice Chairman and Managing Partner at Brookfield Asset Management, where they focus on managing a $50 billion Private Equity Group. Previously, Bloom held positions such as Vice-President at Lazard Freres & Co., Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Treasury, and Assistant to the President for Manufacturing Policy at The White House. They have also contributed to various boards, including serving as Chairman of the United States Postal Service and Director roles at companies such as Clarios and Nielsen. Bloom's educational background includes an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a degree in American History from Wesleyan University.
