Ben Johnson

Ben Johnson has extensive experience in metadata management and provider relations within the library and information science sector. As a Lead Metadata Librarian at ProQuest, Ben managed a team of metadata librarians while overseeing data for a vast number of content packages. Additional roles include Engagement Manager, Provider Relations, and Interim Product Manager, where Ben designed educational materials and collaborated on product development. Currently, as a Provider Relations Analyst at Clarivate, Ben continues to leverage expertise in B2B relationships, building on a foundation that includes positions at notable organizations such as Ex Libris, Serials Solutions, and the University of Washington Libraries. Ben holds a BA in Anthropology and Scandinavian Languages and Literature from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and an MLIS from the University of Washington.
