Ruth Howells

Ruth Howells is an experienced health economist currently serving as Vice President of Health Technology Assessment at Clarivate since April 2019. Ruth has held various roles in previous organizations, including Senior Consultant and Consultant Health Economist at Abacus International from March 2009 to November 2013, and Technical Analyst at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence from January 2007 to March 2009. Prior to that, Ruth worked as a Senior Research Associate at Mapi Values from October 2003 to January 2007, focusing on applied pharmacoeconomic studies, including economic models and health care resource analysis. Ruth holds an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York and a BSc in Health Science from Teesside University.
