Ricardo Castro

Ricardo Castro has extensive experience in information security and data privacy. Ricardo is currently working as the CISO & DPO at Clash. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Information Security at Creditas and Information Security Manager at SumUp. Ricardo has also worked as the Head of Information Security & DPO at M4U and the Global Manager of Information Security at BRF. In addition to their industry experience, Ricardo has also served as a professor for MBA programs at Faculdade Impacta, IBTA, FASP, and UNISANTOS.

Ricardo Castro's education history includes a High school degree in Systems Analysis from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1995-1998), a Master's degree in Legal Engineering and Computer Forensics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo (2006-2010), and a Post-Graduate degree in Project and Systems Analysis from Universidade Paulista (1998-2000). In addition, they obtained an MBA in Technology Management from IBTA in 2005. Ricardo also holds various certifications including Certified Data Privacy Solutions EngineerTM (CDPSETM) from ISACA (2020), COBIT 5 Accredited Trainer / Facilitator / Consultant from APMG-International (2013), CRISC - Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control from ISACA (2010), CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA (2003), and CFE - Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
