Yuping earned her Master’s in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan in 2024. Following her graduate studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Center for Sustainable Systems, contributing to a ‘new-and-improved’ edition of the Sustainability Factsheets Collection. She also worked at the Graham Sustainability Institute, where she analyzed renewable energy policy and data. In 2023, she supported a global program on renewable energy procurement during her internship at the Clean Energy Buyers Association.
Before pursuing her graduate studies, Yuping spent about five years as a journalist focusing on climate, environment, and urban development after earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from Renmin University of China.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cycling, trying new recipes, and visiting museums.
