Dan Peavey has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2008. Dan began their career as a Production Artist, 3D Artist, and Level Designer at Emergent Media Center. Dan then moved on to Doodle Pictures Studio in 2010, where they served as a Production Artist, with responsibilities including developing lighting and rendering pipelines, matte, and look dev for LEGO Avengers animated short, as well as storyboarding, look dev, matte painting, 3D texturing, materials, lighting, and rendering for several shots on over 20 LEGO Star Wars animated shorts. In 2012, Dan became Lead Artist at KLab America Inc., where they developed a pipeline for processing 1500 2D rasterized vector assets, and designed a 3D paralaxing environment solution. In 2014, Dan joined GSN Games as a Software Engineer and Technical Artist. In 2016, they became a Senior Graphics Engineer at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., where they created technical art specs for integrations into the engine and guided the team with rules that provided smooth performance in 99.95% of use cases. In 2018, Dan joined PLAYSTUDIOS as a Graphics Software Engineer, and Fogbank Entertainment as Senior Software Engineer. Finally, in 2020, they became a Senior Engineer at very very spaceship 🚀, and in 2022, they joined ClassDojo as an Engineer.

Dan Peavey attended Champlain College from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Art and Animation.
