Will Powers

Will Powers has worked in various roles since 2007. Will began their career as a Summer Intern at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in 2007, followed by a Summer Internship at Bodri Capital Management in 2008. In 2010, they joined Bodri Capital Management as a Senior Associate, where they developed proprietary financial models for publically traded energy stocks and recommended stocks for portfolio based on financial analysis, market research, and personal interviews with management and sell-side analysts. In 2015, they joined RockYou as a Senior Product Manager, where they led product due diligence during multi-million dollar acquisition of War of Nations, optimized a $6M+ social game economy, and presented weekly company performance updates directly to the CEO. In 2018, they joined Wild Sky Media as the Director of Product and Analytics, Ads, where they directed programmatic advertising yield and analytics on 7 billion yearly impressions, increased ad product revenue by $800k through implementation of real time auctions, and boosted average MOAT viewability by 15% by identifying and removing low-value impressions from inventory pool. In 2020, they joined ClassDojo as a Data Scientist and Data Scientist - Fixed Term Contract.

Will Powers attended Stanford University from 2005-2010, earning a B.A./B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society and Classics.
