Quinton Morris

Quinton Morris is a distinguished Professor of Violin at Seattle University, holding the position of Full Professor since September 2007 and becoming the first tenured music professor promoted in over twenty-five years. Morris has significant leadership roles, including Executive Director and Founder of The Key to Change, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting youth development through music education in South King County. Additionally, Morris serves as Artist-Scholar in Residence at Classical KING FM 98.1, creating programs that highlight BIPOC composers and performers. With experience as Co-Chair of the Seattle Arts Commission and former board member of Artist Trust, Morris has contributed to various artistic initiatives. Morris holds advanced degrees in music from prestigious institutions, including a Doctor of Musical Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and a Graduate Diploma in Management and Nonprofit Leadership from Harvard Extension School.
