The original company was formed as Ian Fray Insurance Brokers in 1986.  Originally handling Triumph  Classic Car Scheme, it soon became apparent that there was a need for more investment in a specialist market.  ClassicLine was formed in 1992. We soon established products utilising the knowledge and relationships we had built with the classic car association. Further products were created for the TVR, Porsche, Ferrari, Figaro Owners Club as well as more leftfield schemes for the NSRA (National Street Rod Association).

We established specialised products utilising the knowledge and relationships that we had built with the car associations. Further products such as NSRA, valuations and in house breakdown schemes were then rolled out.

We have managed delegated authority schemes now for over 25 years, actively developing with insurers long term partnerships. We actively encourage relationship skills with our clients which in turn produces happy clients who come back year after year.

Our customers are also intermediaries where we fulfill a technical area that many personal lines brokerages do not have.
