Prior to this role, Varun served as a volunteer at Jeevaniya Society and embarked on a notable journey across India, during which a motorbike trip spanned 16 states and involved engagement with various grassroots organizations. Varun's professional background also includes significant roles at ITC Limited, where responsibilities included managing projects in the tobacco supply chain and spices divisions. Varun holds a B. Tech (Hons.) degree in Agricultural & Food Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, earned between 2002 and 2006.
