Jonathan Wong

Jonathan Wong has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jonathan is currently employed as a Software Engineer at ClassPass. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Principal Development Group Consulting, where they contributed to the development of Golang microservices and built pipelines using AWS Glue and EMR Spark jobs. Jonathan also worked as a Software Engineer at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where they developed and enhanced a license distribution and management system.

Jonathan has also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they designed experimental projects and developed analysis processes using MATLAB. Additionally, they served as a Research Assistant at Pomona College, where they contributed to the construction of an adaptive optics system for the college's telescope and served as a Teaching Assistant.

Furthermore, Jonathan worked as a High School Tutor during their time as a self-employed individual and gained internship experience at NASA Ames Research Center. Jonathan also served as a Senior Intern at Chabot Space & Science Center, where they performed demonstrations and mentored other volunteers and interns.

Jonathan Wong attended Miramonte High School from 2007 to 2011. After graduating from high school, they enrolled in Pomona College where they pursued a degree in Physics from 2011 to 2015. During their time at Pomona College, Jonathan studied Physics, Astronomy, and Classics as part of their field of study. In 2012, they also obtained certification as a Pharmacy Technician from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
