Hyejin Park has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2015 they worked as a Digital Marketing Intern at 11street. In 2016 they worked as an IT Specialist at Hyundai U&I. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at McGill University in two different roles as an HCI Research Assistant, first for the ACT (Accessible Computing) research group, and then for the usability evaluation of open data portals project. In 2021 they also worked as a UX Research intern at the National Film Board of Canada and as a Product Manager at both Watcha, Inc. and CLASSUM.
Hyejin Park obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Information Systems from Kookmin University in 2016, after having studied there from 2011 to 2016. Hyejin then obtained two certifications: a Big Data Professional Program from the Gyeonggi Content Agency in 2017, and a Design Thinking - Microsoft Creative Talent Track from Microsoft Korea in 2015. In 2019, they began their Master of Information studies - MISt in Human Computer Interaction at McGill University School of Information Studies, which they are still currently pursuing.
