Michael Mills

Michael Mills has a diverse work experience spanning various software engineering and development roles. Since 2022, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Classy. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2022, Michael worked at Sentry, starting as a Software Developer and later being promoted to Senior Software Engineer. Before Sentry, they worked at Trident Contract Management as a Senior Developer, where they managed and implemented complex projects on the SFDC platform. Michael joined Trident in 2013 as an Intern/Developer and quickly became a valuable asset to the company. Michael also has experience outside the tech industry, having worked as a Scooper at Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Company from 2012 to 2013.

Michael Mills earned their Associate's Degree in IT Web Analyst - Programmer from Madison Area Technical College, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including certifications in Cloud Native Projects: AWS Serverless and Microservices: Design Patterns from LinkedIn in 2022. Michael also obtained certifications in Learning Amazon Connect: Create and Manage a Contact Center, Learning Terraform, Node.js Essential Training, Working Remotely, Gradle for Java Developers, Learning the OWASP Top 10, and Programming Foundations: Secure Coding from LinkedIn between 2019 and 2020. Furthermore, they hold a Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. obtained in 2019. Lastly, they obtained a Salesforce Dev 401 certification from Salesforce in 2014.
