Steven Freygang

Steven Freygang has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Steven is currently working as a Senior Account Executive at Classy.org since May 2022. Prior to this role, they served as an Account Executive at the same company from September 2021 to May 2022.

From September 2019 to September 2021, Steven worked at Woodland Park Zoo as the Senior Manager, responsible for Annual Giving, Events, Stewardship, and Capital Campaign.

Before that, they held various positions at Sammamish Rowing Association. From June 2016 to September 2019, they served as the Executive Director, and from September 2013 to May 2016, they worked as the Director of Development.

Additionally, Steven has also worked at The Vital Ground Foundation as a Director of Development from March 2013 to September 2014. Steven led fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and events throughout the West Coast and managed a portfolio of major donors, foundations, and corporate partners.

Steven began their career as a Teacher at Winter Park High School from August 2010 to March 2013. During their tenure, they taught 9th-grade physical science and study skills and served as the Head Coach of the rowing team, winning a state and national championship.

Steven Freygang completed their education history with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Washington in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration, with a focus on Entrepreneurship, from the University of Central Florida in 2008-2010. In 2007, they also participated in a Wilderness Leadership Semester at the Alaska Mountain Guides, where they studied ski mountaineering, climbing, backpacking, sea kayaking, and whitewater rafting. Additionally, Steven holds a certification as a Certified Fundraising Professional from Philanthropy Northwest.
