Dylan Rakestraw

Dylan Rakestraw is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Associate Counsel at Clayco since July 2024. Prior to this role, Rakestraw worked as Corporate Counsel at The Walsh Group from August 2022 to July 2024, and held the position of Associate Attorney at Nora & Partners LLP from August 2021 to August 2022. Rakestraw has extensive experience as an Associate Attorney at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP from December 2018 to August 2021, and as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office from November 2016 to December 2018. Rakestraw began legal career as a Law Clerk at the same office from May 2013 to May 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, obtained in 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2012.
