RON MITCHELL

Ron Mitchell is an experienced consultant and director currently leading Mitchell CEA and serving as Chairman of the Board for the FarmTech Society. With over 40 years of expertise in controlled environment agriculture (CEA), Ron has a rich background in hydroponic food production and vertical farming, honed under Professor Paul Droll at the University of California, Berkeley. They founded Lone Palm Farm in Hawaii, which became a successful indoor vertical farm, and later co-founded Local Greens in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ron's work includes significant roles in various agricultural firms and ongoing education in horticulture and hydroponic production.
