Ryan Renken

Ryan Renken is a Mechanical Preconstruction Manager at Clayco since April 2014, where responsibilities include managing mechanical scopes of work during the preconstruction phase, including estimating and subcontractor selection for commercial and institutional projects valued from $1mm to $200mm. Prior to Clayco, Ryan worked at Jacobs as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, leading the design of HVAC systems for diverse facilities, focusing on load calculations, equipment selection, and energy analysis. Ryan's engineering career began at Lockwood Greene as a Mechanical Engineer, followed by a role as a Development Engineer at DRS Technologies, where critical analysis of air handling units and design of refrigeration systems for Navy submarines were undertaken. Ryan's career started at Klein Tools as a Product Engineer, focusing on the design and testing of Occupational Protective Equipment. Ryan holds a degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
