John Carlson

John Carlson is currently serving as the Senior Northeast Regional Policy Manager at the Clean Air Task Force, focusing on advocating for economy-wide decarbonization policies to achieve net-zero emissions at the state level in the U.S. Previous experience includes roles as a Trade Policy Fellow in the Office of Senator Ron Wyden, Senior Fellow for International Trade and Fisheries at Oceana, and Senior Manager at Ceres, Inc., where advocacy centered on climate change and clean energy policies along the East Coast. Additional positions held include Assistant Director at Milwaukee Downtown BID #21, COO at Buca Boot, and Deputy Voter Protection Director for Obama for America. John Carlson holds a JD in Law from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
