Robert Kell

Robert Kell serves as the Senior Southeast Regional Policy Manager at Clean Air Task Force since September 2025. Prior experience includes roles such as Community Resilience Working Group Facilitator at Central Appalachian Network and New Economy Program Manager at Appalachian Voices. Kell has also participated in the Appalachian Leadership Institute as a Fellow with the Appalachian Regional Commission and held positions as Operations Fellow and New Economy Graduate Fellow at Climate Action Campaign DC and Appalachian Voices, respectively. Previous experience includes work as a Southwest Organizer at Virginia Organizing and as Director at Sprouting Hope. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability from Wake Forest University, a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University focusing on Religion and Economic Justice, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Virginia.
