Save 1.6 million tons of water
Avoid emission of 180,000 tons of CO2

Salkhit Wind Farm is comprised of:
28km long 110kV double circuit high voltage transmission line 
27km long 35kV cable network 
31 wind turbine generators of GE 1.6-82.5xle type, each with a 1.6MW capacity 
110 kV complete substation with 110/35 kV, 2x50 MVA transformers.

Technological Advantages: 
High voltage gas insulated switchgear (110kV GIS) installed at the substation is the latest advanced technology introduced to the Mongolian energy sector. 
35kV cable network is the largest in the country with minimal environment impact, low operational and maintenance cost.
