David Sapper

David Sapper currently serves as Vice President of Transmission & Markets at Clean Grid Alliance, initiating efforts to enhance transmission capacity and foster clean energy market opportunities across the Midcontinent region. Previously, David held the position of Director of Market Intelligence at Customized Energy Solutions, where responsibilities included analyzing policy changes and market operations for MISO. David's experience also includes serving as a Policy Advisor to Commissioner Robert M. Garvin at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin and to Director H. Lynn Greer, Jr. at the Tennessee Regulatory Authority, as well as working as an Economist. David holds a PhD in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a BA in Economics from Trinity University.
