Jonas Mueller's most recent work experience is as the Chief Scientist and Co-Founder at Cleanlab, a company focused on data-centric AI. Here, Jonas is responsible for hiring senior positions in data science, machine learning, and software engineering. They are also looking for PhD students in ML for summer internships to develop new Data-Centric AI techniques. Prior to Cleanlab, Jonas worked at Amazon Web Services as a Senior Applied Scientist from 2018 to 2022. They also had a role as an AI Research Intern at Microsoft Research in 2017.
Jonas Mueller completed their B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley from 2009 to 2013. Jonas then pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2018.
