Mitch Dotson

Mitch Dotson is an experienced safety professional with a robust background in environmental health and safety (EHS) across various sectors, including solar energy, construction, and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Principal EHS Auditor at Borrego since October 2021, Mitch conducts audits at solar construction sites nationwide and collaborates with site supervisors to enhance safety programs. Previous roles include Senior Safety Coordinator at DP Electric Inc. and Site Safety Manager at SunPower Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed safety audits, coaching, and aligning safety procedures. With an extensive career that began at Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #359, Mitch has consistently demonstrated a commitment to maintaining compliance with safety regulations and fostering effective safety cultures on large-scale projects. Education includes attendance at Mesa Community College and Chandler High School.
