Mentor and Regional Judge

Olivia (Huan) Yan, PhD, MBA, is the founder and CEO of Olivia’s Tanghulu, a specialty dessert business based in the Bay Area that aims to modernize traditional Chinese street food. With a background in food quality and research, including roles at Impossible Foods and Food Safety Analytics, they specialize in food safety and analytical method development. Olivia is currently pursuing an MBA at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and actively seeks collaborations in the food space, focusing on partnerships and innovative food experiences. They also contribute as a mentor and regional judge for the Cleantech Open and co-chair of The Alt. Protein Project at Berkeley.
