Stuart Ross

Stuart Ross is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and risk management. Currently serving as Compliance Director and MLRO at Zopa since January 2021, Ross previously held significant roles at Metro Bank as Head of Compliance and Conduct Risk, and at HSBC, where responsibilities included Head of Conduct for HSBC Private Bank (UK) Ltd and various senior management positions in regulatory compliance. Prior to HSBC, Ross worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland as Group Regulatory Relations Manager. A graduate of the University of Glasgow with an MA in Politics, Ross began their career in internal audit and corporate banking.
