Jim Batten

Jim Batten has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Jim started their career at BAeSEMA as a Software Engineer from 1993 to 1994. Jim then worked at Ionica as a Software Engineer from 1995 to 1998. Following this, they joined Home Wireless Networks as a Senior Software Engineer from 1998 to 2001. Jim then worked at Lake Communications as a Software Manager, where they headed up the Cambridge software team and developed various networking Matrix products. Jim was with Lake Communications from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2014, Jim worked at Vitec Group Communications as a Software Manager. Currently, they are employed at Clear-Com, where they started as a Senior Engineering Manager from 2014 to 2017 and was later promoted to Director Of Engineering in 2017.

Jim Batten attended Oxford Brookes University from 1991 to 1994, where they pursued a BSc (Hons) degree in AI/Intelligent Systems. Jim successfully completed their studies and graduated with a 2.i degree classification.
