Dena J. has extensive experience in community engagement and translation services, currently serving as a Community Officer at CLEAR Global since November 2018. Previously, Dena held the position of Crisis Response Recruitment Officer at Translators Without Borders, where responsibilities included recruiting volunteer translators for critical crisis languages, particularly for North Eastern Nigeria and Bangladesh, as well as managing the Farsi Team and overseeing translation quality. Dena's earlier roles included office assistance, research assistance, and organizing voter outreach efforts for local elections. Additionally, Dena was a member of the Board of Directors for the Women of the Land of the Sun Society, contributing to the establishment of Iran's first harm reduction drop-in center for women. Dena holds a Master's degree in Translation Studies from York University.
