Mike Edgeley

Edgeley is the Group CEO of the Clear Group, a rapidly expanding Chartered Insurance broker, a role they have held since 2021. They previously served as Managing Director at A-Plan Insurance from 2018 to 2020 and as Managing Director of Specialist Medical Businesses within Capita plc from 2014 to 2015. They also held senior roles including Operations Director at First Group plc (2006–2007) and Group e-commerce Director at BGL Group (2007–2008), with leadership at Lancaster Insurance Services Ltd (2013–2014) leading a turnaround and transition into Markerstudy Group. They began their career with officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (1988–1989) and as a trainee accountant at KPMG UK (1987–1988), and hold a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accountancy from Cardiff University (1984–1987) and a Master’s in Defence Studies from the Defence Academy (1999–2000).
