Clear Solar is applying space-grade innovation to solve one of Earth’s most overlooked clean energy challenges: dust.

Born out of lunar exploration, our founding team—veterans of NASA-backed technology development—has spent years tackling extreme engineering problems on the Moon, where dust isn't just a nuisance—it’s a mission-critical threat. That deep experience in sustainability, reliability, and resource efficiency is now being redirected toward a global issue here at home.

In arid regions, solar panels can lose up to 60% of their energy output due to dust accumulation—what the industry calls “soiling.” This results in millions of dollars in lost revenue and expensive, water-intensive cleanings. We’re developing a non-contact, water-free dust mitigation system adapted from lunar surface tech to help solar plant operators maximize uptime, reduce O&M costs, and boost environmental sustainability.
